it’s hot (!)
Had a good, long weekend. Held the last “Race Riot of 1908 Reconciliation Meeting” saturday morning. We’ve been going to different churches of Springfield praying (Joel 2 style) for reconciliation and a washing of the land by Jesus’ blood, covering the blood of hated and racism. It’s been really good. The mayor of springfield came out and announced an official apology for the acts of 1908 (including the murder of black families). God heard our cries– I’m excited.
