“Where the air is clear” [updated]

“I’ll wait as my wings search for
the wind. I’ll wait till I see
your face again. I wish that we
could meet where the air is clear,
don’t have to worry for the ground
beneath our feet…. I’ll wait held captive to this earth.”
Andrea Marie Carr (“I wish that we could meet”)
See that photo up there? It’s a little piece of this song. I want to go there again… If only to breath the air and hear the cowbells…. I think it’s time I get a new camera… I’ve had a “Pro” flickr account since last May and haven’t been able to upload one new photo since the robbery! Ahhg! READ: How about a switch to Nikon? >>>>>>> Looks good to me.
[update] After conversing with the hordes on facebook… I think I have narrowed it down to 3 available options:
#1:
#2: If I can’t afford #1 I shall commence with #2….
#3: If all else fails…
Ehh– Off to work!

:)
You know the first thing this picture made me think of?
“Let’s go fly a kite
Up to the highest height
Let’s go fly a kite
And send it soaring
Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Oh let’s go fly a kite!”
Why such a shockingly beautiful picture should make me think of Mary Poppins is a complete mystery. And it IS a wondrous photo of what is, I’m sure, a wondrous place.
Thanks for sharing this.
Weeel– we all know about you and Mary Poppins… You and your bag…
It’s true. It wasn’t even really my favorite movie as a kid, and I only read the books after I was “grown up”. I wonder if there is spiritual significance…?
