The Worship Center, Raleigh, North Carolina

Worship Center Front
In the Chapel Hill suburbs of the capitol city Raleigh, NC, you’ll find the 18,000sq foot Worship Center sanctuary. Built in the last year (they’ve been open for 3 months) this place doesn’t even have an official sign anywhere on the exterior. But let me tell you, the angels play here.

The place was built by a fiery senior couple that have an incredible vision. They’ve owned the land here for over 20 years and it’s only been the last 4 years that the Lord began to speak about building a place of worship. What is so awesome is that the ‘ministry’ here isn’t entangled with any one group or church denomination. (Oh, and money is no object. I don’t think they spared one dime on a square inch of the place.) Which allows a vast amount of freedom, both in how they operate and the way they interact with the community.

Sean Feucht of Burn 24/7 invited us out to join him lead worship for a few days and connect with these folks. What a God connection for the region!

The Lord is insane. I hope to post a well-rounded blog in the near future regarding what we’re seeing in the Eastern North Carolina swirl or “phenomenon” as some call it. And it’s all connected! Derek Prince prophesied over eastern NC saying that “there will be a revival greater than the great Wales phenomenon” (the Welsh Revival took place in 1904-1905). It seems that me and my family keep running into this word. It was a prayer focus during the Freedom Tour and has continued to be a hot topic. On top of that, the Worship Center stands on ground that is in a direct result of a word Derek Prince gave the original owners 20+ years ago, now the time has come and the sound is arising.
