The song goes through the earth like a river with healing! The full expression of the Bride is a representation of the Father’s heart, and of His Kingdom.

The “mechanical” creation of Andrea’s album, although important, is almost a side-note in my heart. The spiritual awaking that is happing in the Bride is what I’m being struck by. It’s not just this album or this particular style, it’s a generation of people being transformed at a heart level.

Go read Ezek. 47. This river is the river in Revelation, flowing from the throne of God transforming everything it touches! We are the trees on it’s banks (Psalm 1:3) and our leaves are for the healing of the nations (Rev 22:2). The fruit of our labors willl go into the earth and heal the broken hearted!

This is Isa. 61 Jesus justice released through the hands of you and me! The Kingdom of God realized in our midst and the song a healing river that runs through the earth!

Ah! Sweet breakthrough. Today starts week two of recording with Andrea (Marie Carr) at the Banks House (United Pursuit) studio in Knoxville. The morning was full of sunshine and the sweet presence of Jesus. I’ve had this wonderful expectation that creativity is about overflow and change the earth. The picture of the radiance of Jesus shining through His bride overwhelms me. I wrote in my journal this morning while thinking about the rising song in the earth:

Father, I pray for divine creativity that would open the doors of opportunity into the nations of the world. I ask You for the keys to the earth Father. You said you gave everything to us through Jesus, I ask for revelation for the bridal partnership you’ve created us to partake in. Reveal Yourself to us that we would see with clarity and act with understanding.

Shine Jesus, shine your beauty through your bride. Let her garments shine with the radiant beauty of Jesus. Sing Your song through her, sing Your song to the nations, raise up a prophetic singing bride. We are barren but You have seeded us with Your Spirit. We are void without you but you have commanded light to fill our darkness. We are lovely though we know not our worth.

This week at the Banks House has been jam packed full!

We got back from the United Pursuit summit Sunday evening; Monday was the first day in the studio with Andrea. Her goal is to complete 15 songs within 4 weeks. Today she realized how emotionally draining the process of recording her songs is. With everyday being a party at the Banks House, it’s been near impossible to get these guys to go to bed before 2 each night. I’m mostly concerned about Andrea’s health with all that work & play…

When I’m not worrying about bedtimes I’m grabbing video clips of the project-in-progress. I put together a short video (see below) to give you a peek inside the process. I’m sitting here trying to come up with the right descriptive words to explain what this journey is like. It’s really amazing. The video is cool and shows a little glimpse into the studio-process, but it’s entirely different living out each moment.

The United Pursuit family in Knoxville, TN makes up the difference. Sure, the house is full of a bunch of bachelors that can hardly (sorry boys) pick up after themselves (Will, you’re amazing) but it’s their sincere hearts for God that I’m drawn by. (One aspect of the community is the “Love War” gathering I mentioned takes place here on Tuesday nights and is a group of forty or fifty that meet for a few hours of prayer & worship.)

Tennessee! Pulled in last night for a show at the famous Bijou downtown. Now we’re in the mountains with the United Pursuit crew for the last day of their (very) official summit where the future of United Pursuit is being discussed. Exciting stuff.

Monday starts three weeks of production for Andrea (Marie Carr)’s album. This project is going to be pretty amazing (keep tabs at AndreaMarieCarr.com). The studio (“Banks House”), which doubles as a guys house, is located in an older suburb of Knoxville. We’ll mostly eat, sleep and live in these four walls for the remainder of the month.

My dad is here for a week to pour out his father’s blessing over us as we embark on this project. He’ll return to Wilmington to start work on the house of prayer and be with the rest of the family. I’m excited about this month and grateful for the time with these genuine hearts.

Ahhh.. The song of Jesus is beautiful. He sings through his bride and it’s His people who will display His glory.

Ah! The days are flying by! December has been a fairly “quiet” month for the Carrs. With little travel this month, we’ve been able to focus on prayer and family. There’s been rumblings and stirrings (more than usual) over the house of prayer the last few weeks. Not just expanded vision for the house of prayer but the workings of a permanent building! We’re close, but I wont tell the details (awesome details) until it’s official.

January 1st not only the starts off the new year but also kicks off a two week visit from the (Lewis side) Grandparents! Granny & Gramps have been gifted first-class tickets and two weeks in a beach house here in Wilmington, much to the joy and excitement of us all. Oh, Mom & Dad bought the kids a dog a few weeks ago… A female chocolate lab to be exact. I think she is about 2 years old. Yes, the Carr house is always full of new things!

Dad, Jadon, and myself head for Knoxville, TN Jan 8th to meet Andrea at the United Pursuit studio on Banks St. Andrea is (shh…) recording her debut album there all of January. I plan to be there for 3 weeks to help time-manage, give input, gain input, record a little and other many adventures I’m sure. So if my blog posts have been boring as of late, I hope to push out some exciting new stuff throughout January as we can this album and get ready for the next musical twist. Over the last few weeks I’ve been getting slammed by the Lord on this whole “global-bridal-song” thing. I’d love to share some of that soon.
