After we left spring last week we headed for Newport News Virginia. We were invited to lead worship at Livingstone House Of Prayer’s annual youth conference called “The Ascent”. The night of our arrival at the Mosaic Campus, Newport News (along with most of the eastern seaboard) was hit with a pretty heavy storm. We arrived at about 4PM and by 7:30PM, in the midst of our sound check I might add, the power was yanked and we were plunged in 24 hours of darkness. [...]

Our time in Springfield has been another pivotal week in our journey as a family. The main reason for coming was to support our Springfield House Of Prayer family with their first conference, Awakened Hearts, which focused on prayer, worship, intimacy and intercession. Two key figures that helped birth this house of prayer back in 2005 were here over the weekend. Lou Engle (Of TheCall) and Kirk Bennett from IHOP-KC were both part of the original forming moments for the Springfield gang.

I spent last week in Seattle showing a friend of mine a few of my favorite spots in the Great Northwest. It felt great to take a little break from the East Coast and breath in the fresh, crisp air of the forest. [...]

“O the Love that the Father has lavished upon us”

Andrea arrives back home Monday after 4+ weeks of travel. She hit up various parts of Australia for three weeks and has been in Chicago for the last few days. She has been traveling with Sean feucht and a team from Burn 24/7. I’ve heard bits and pieces from her adventures and can’t wait to hear more!

There’s little time to rest around here with Jadon and Myself headed out for Seattle on Tuesday for six days of extended family, fishing and adventure. It doesn’t stop there! The day after I return, all the Carrs will be piling into the van for another 2 weeks on the road. We’re headed for Springfield, IL to help support and lead worship at a conference at SHOP. It will be good to see our ’springfield family’.

November 12th we head back for the east coast and New Port News, VA to lead worship for an annual youth conference at LHOP. That is a two day event that will wrap on the 14th. On Monday we’re in New Bern, NC to lead a night of worship for a larger Baptist gathering.
